Transcendence

The journey within

Voices

In the midst of all the uncertainty, rest.

Rest in faith that your love will be seen, received, understood and acknowledged. Rest, knowing that, that which is real cannot be threatened. And all that is unreal, will simply fall away. Why fear, oh little one? Why fear? When the arms of the Highest Good are forever around you, why fear?

Grace has been with you at every step. Look back. Take a deep breath, let your chaos dissolve. And look back at all the times you were carried out of storms and troubles. If your true essence is Love, let it flow, let it have its way. For it will always have its way. It has not been named the most powerful force in this world for no reason. All it asks is for is trust. Unwavering faith. And with this trust comes all the courage you need to do everything that will be required of you.

Let all that is true stay, and all else fall away.

Lord, hear my prayer.

Amen.

Happy Christmas x

Pain by Gibran

"Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding. Even as the stone of the fruit must break, that its heart may stand in the sun, so must you know pain. And could you keep your heart in wonder at the daily miracles of your life, your pain would not seem less wondrous than your joy; And you would accept the seasons of your heart, even as you have always accepted the seasons that pass over your fields. And you would watch with serenity through the winters of your grief."

.. such beautiful words by Gibran.

If only we could let pain seep into us this way, it would never bring us down. It would never weigh in our hearts, but be our anchor that holds us in place. It would be a reminder of all the good in our lives.

If only..

The Beginning

How can this be the end,
For we have only begun.
The mind knows nothing,
Except story telling.

How can this be the end,
For we still have so many
More conversations and silences,
Yet to be exchanged.

How can this be the end,
For our travels and adventures
Wait for us, patiently,
As we prepare.

How can this be the end,
For my Heart still overflows
With every word, you have uttered
To me.

This is just, a continuation
Of how we are, and what we have,
Our lives have intertwined into each other.
And our Souls breathe as One.

All else is poor translation!

I do not know which is more beautiful, the language of Love or the language of Silence.

OR are they the same thing? Because Love understands Silence, and Silence reads into Love. I have read too many times, that Love needs no words to express itself, because it is so overwhelming a state that no word created by the human mind can ever define it.

Silence, however, existed before humans ever did. In fact, silence is all that has ever been and all that will ever be, long after we have gone. So is silence the original language?

"Silence is the language of God, all else is poor translation" - Rumi

Just like it is extremely easy to give into ego and 'do what you gotta do', it is also just as easy to speak all that your mind says without pausing to examine its necessity. Grudges, spite, anger, vengeance are all too easy to speak out.

How easy is it to sit through the anger and watch it pass through you in silence?
How often do you find yourself opinionated about everything?

Much more difficult to remain silent and watch it all unfold, just as it is, is it not?

No wonder, meditation and silence are so deeply linked. The quieter we are, both verbally and mentally, the more clarity we receive through our inner guidance, the more patient we get and it becomes so plain that everything is merely here and now. Your happiness is just as much here and now as is your sorrow. Both will go.

Are you ready to welcome both with blissful silence?

Be Still (Title Inspired from Mark 4:35)

~ If you truly have faith in someone, if you believe in the love you both
share, you will find yourself no longer needing confirmation, or approval,
and you will no longer attempt to prove each other’s love. You will just
know it exists, you will know it is there, you will know it is within
reach, and you will know that it endures. You will simply know.

How does someone go against a truth they feel and know inside of themselves?
How does one question its existence or doubt its presence?

This time, I have no long drawn explanation about ego or love, or both.

Just a simple question - which need not necessarily be answered, just thought about.

If you feel a truth in all its purity and it reveals itself to you, sit in its presence and that will lend you all the direction you need, all the strength you require, all the reason you seek and all the peace you wish to have.

Be still, and sit in the presence of Your Truth.

The Whole

Hold on, hold on,
Let go, and hold on
You are the Source, yourself
And the River too.
For without one,
The other cannot exist.

Hush, in quiet, in Silence
Let the world turn, for you.
And watch as it does,
It brings people and events
For your Highest Good.

Be one, with your Heart
And listen to its beating.
With each breath, open yourself
To all that Is.

Like a sieve, let it pass through you
Whatever this is you encounter.
Let Pain nourish you,
And let Love wound you
In its Wholeness and Beauty.

Stories

If you sit quietly, and zone out from your outer circumstances for just ONE moment, and carefully observe, you will notice something you wish you had not noticed. You will notice, the voice in your head. The voice in your head that speaks of how you are not good enough, how you cannot get anywhere, how circumstances are binding you, how everything is miserable, how you need to get ahead of where you already are and other words that sound similar.

How true is this voice in your head? It is pretty loud. And therefore accurate? It does always seem to point correctly to your life situation, so it MUST be right.

Is it?

Does the voice in your head mirror the situation you are in or is it the other way round?

Have you considered stepping into the possibility that the voice in your head is exactly what is limiting your life situation? It is not mirroring reality, but creating and affirming all that is wrong within your reality?

Circumstances are not negative or positive - just teachers. Like all the years that have passed you on till now, this will too. What is the worst that can happen?

You Die.

That is essentially the worst as fathomed by our minds. Death, annihilation, end.

The truth within You knows that is not the end. It knows it's own immortal, perfect nature and hence it is fearless. Caged in our bodies, we live from the body, every minute rather than living from within our souls. We spend every moment in worry, calculating, analysing every step we take, thinking how much we risk, counting how many people we love, measuring HOW MUCH we love.

Listen to yourself. "I did so much for her, the least she could do is love me back". "I sacrificed all my youth bringing them up, and they don't care anymore". "I give my whole heart to him, and he does not do anything special for me, he does not understand me".

Are you really that much of a victim? Is that how you define care and loving? By what you get and not what you give? Is that your real self? Have you tried to see your authentic self, buried under those layers of judgement and opinion?

Gently try drop your focus on that voice inside your head that tells you everything is wrong. Smile at it. It will be surprised at you when you smile at it from a deep awareness of the truth of any situation ~ any situation's true "temporary" nature. Loosen your grip on what you don't want. Let it go, rather than thinking about how it will go wrong and keeping it alive within yourself. For once, connect with another being without judgement of their past or present, without holding onto what they have 'done' to you. Understand, that people are rarely themselves anymore, just their own stories. A large part of you is also just your own version of you. A story about yourself that you tell yourself, each moment of every day. This is the voice, the story, about yourself and others that forms the cloud you see all things through. It is your preferred choice of glasses, with a really high optical number!

Don't be your own prisoner, woven within your own stories. Let yourself out. Let go. And while you do that, remember to Smile.
